Erzhan Kulibaev


Erzhan Kulibaev has won prizes at the Wieniawski and Enescu International Violin Competitions, First Prize at the Demidovski, Lisbon, Novosibirsk, Hindemith, Buenos-Aires, Manhattan International Violin Competitions, Golden Medal at Berliner International Music Competition and received the 2015 S&R Washington Award. 


One of the Young Artists of The Violin Channel, his recent concert engagements included solo debuts at Carnegie Hall (New York), Mariinsky Theater (Saint Petersburg), St. James Church Piccadilly (London), Sony Center for Performing Arts (Toronto), Berlin Konzerthaus, “Opera Bastille” (Paris), Auditorio de Tenerife, and Teatro Colón (Buenos-Aires).


He has performed with orchestras such as the Poznan Philharmonic, Tenerife Symphony, chamber orchestras of the Moscow Philharmonic and St Petersburg State Capella, Yucatan Symphony, Polish Chamber Philharmonic and Kraków Philharmonic, and collaborated with artists such as Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Ashkenazy, David Geringas, Maxim Vengerov and Schlomo Minz. Erzhan is supported by “Talent Unlimited” and is currently a professor at the Katarina Gurska School of Music (Madrid).
