Mercedes Enciso


Mercedes Enciso has performed at the Manuel de Falla Auditorium and the Isabel la Católica Theater in Granada, at the Maestranza Theater (Seville), the Conde Duque Center (Madrid), the Hispanic Society (New York) and at the Sao Pedro Theater (Sao Paulo). She received a bachelor degree from the Superior Conservatory of Sevilla as a Pilar Bilbao student, studied at the Schola Cantorum in Paris with maestro Eugen Indic, and received a master in piano accompanying Warren Jones at the Manhattan School of Music in New York.


Mercedes Enciso has collaborated in voice lessons and at the opera workshop at the Manhattan School of Music, cello master classes organised by MalagaCello, the Escorial voice courses taught by Suso Mariategui and Edelmiro Arnaltes, and with singer Mariola Cantarero and cellist Guillermo Pastrana.


Ms Enciso has been a piano teacher at the Conservatories of Music of Granada and Almería. Furthermore, she has been an accompanying pianist at the Conservatory of Music of Castellón and the Royal Conservatory of Music of Granada. She is currently a piano accompanist and teacher at the “Manuel Carra” Conservatory of Malaga.
