Koh Gabriel Kameda
Winner of the Henryk Szeryng International Violin Competition (Mexico), Mr. Kameda has appeared as a soloist with leading orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic, Japan Philharmonic, Baden-Baden Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Dresden, Berlin Symphony, Austrian Radio and Television Symphony, Belgian Radio and Television Orchestra, Zürich Chamber Orchestra, National Symphony of Ireland, Tokyo Symphony, Mexico City Philharmonic, and Venezuela Symphony. He studied at the University of Music in Karlsruhe with professor Josef Rissin, and at Manhattan School of Music (New York) with Pinchas Zukerman.
In recent seasons he has performed in Japan, USA (Carnegie Hall with the Orchestra of St. Lukes) Germany, Switzerland (Tonhalle Zürich) and Latin America (Sala Cecilia Meireles, Rio de Janeiro, with Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira, Paraguay with Orquesta Nacional de Paraguay and others). Mr Kameda has taught at the Zurich University of the Arts, and is currently a professor at the University of Music Detmold and University of Münster in Germany.
